Next I drilled out the holes in the knees. After the holes were drilled, I used a file to square off the hole to match the bolt ends.
The bolt has a large flat circular end on it that I figured would match the knee circles well. I realize this is not exactly to spec with the "real" 3p0, but it will not be too noticeable. Besides, I like the way it looks!

Below is a view inside the knee joint...you can see the two 10" bungees installed.
